I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Owens, but I have corresponded with him over the years. I am the church secretary at First Baptist, & I would send him (& Mrs. Owens before her passing) the church newsletter. The last correspondence I had with him was over a year ago, & he said at that time to remove him from the mailing, because he was unable to read the clearly.
I was going to try to come to the funeral home today, but it doesn't look as though I will be able to get away from the office.
God bless you all, during this time.

Judy, Dottie, and Linda - so sorry that I we weren''t able to be there with you and your families today. I was blessed to be with Uncle William just a few weeks ago. I will always remember his sense of humor and his laugh. I would see that same laugh in grandma Owens. Times like this are difficult, but time families are together should be embraced with joy. Your dad lived a long life and lived it well. Lift your spirits together as you celebrate your nephew/son''s wedding. Warm regards, your cousin in Solon, Ohio. Pat & Leslie Owens
