Patricia Ann Hutchinson, 73, of Shelbyville died Friday, June 8, 2012, at her residence.
She was born July 22, 1938, to William and Lucille (Benefiel) Skillman in Shelbyville. She married Howard E. “Hutch” Hutchinson, Sr., on June 7, 1957, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Ann Hutchinson-Profitt of Shelbyville; brothers, Jim Skillman of Shelbyville, Bob Skillman of Jacksonville, Fla., and Steve Skillman of North Carolina; sisters, Mary Roy of Greenfield and JoAnn Skillman of Jacksonville, Fla.; and grandchildren Jessica, Natalie and Casey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Howard E. “Hutch” Hutchinson, Jr.; brother, Thomas Skillman; and sister, Marilyn Imel.
She was employed with the local Teamster union as an administrative clerical assistant at Ryder Trucking in Indianapolis until her retirement in 1992.
Mrs. Hutchinson was a member of the Town and Country Christian Church.
Her grandchildren were her precious treasures.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Jean so very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. We are so that we were unable to be there for you. She was a very kind lady and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and you children during this difficult time.
