Carolyn "Sue" Qurazzo, 64, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Waldron Health and Rehab Center.
She was born July 24, 1947, in Shelbyville to John "Doc" Raymond and Zella Mae (Shephard) Cordrey. She married Joseph Qurazzo on Nov. 26, 1976, and he survives in Shelbyville.
Other survivors include a son, Kyle Qurazzo of Shelbyville; and three sisters, Frances Conner of Shelbyville, Beverly Eikman of Geneva and Louise Burton of St. Petersburg, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Turner, Sebe, George and Jeff Caine and Herman and Eugene Cordrey; and sisters, Pauline Merchant, Norma Rathburn, Shirley Rody and Madelene Caine.
Carolyn was a homemaker. She was a member of American Legion Post 70 Auxiliary.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronnie Caine officiating. Burial will follow at Whispering Hope Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville.
Memorials may be made to Heroes Honor of Glory Veterans Memorial in care of the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Q's passing, I remember the days of marching band, and how she was always there to help out. I wish I could have made it down for the funeral, but I didn't find out until late. Thinking of the whole family at this time, you're all in my prayers. If you need anything let me know.

Just found out of Sue''w passing and am really sorry to hear of this. Sue was a very good friend through our teen years and on. She is and always will be sadly missed.
