Flora Ellen Rosenfeld, 93, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Morristown Manor in Morristown.

She was born Oct. 27, 1918, in Noble Township to James Albert and Valeria Ethel (Gregory) Kelley. She married Norbert Francis Rosenfeld, who preceded her in death April 10, 1998.

Survivors include daughters, Janet Schoentrup of Shelbyville, Kathleen (husband, Terrill) Rouse of Franklin and Elizabeth (husband, James) Dale of Leesburg, Va.; sons, Frederick (wife, Sharon) Rosenfeld of Fort Wayne, Thomas (wife, Charlene) Rosenfeld of Shelbyville, Patrick (wife, Jeanine) Rosenfeld of Columbus and Kenneth (wife, Cheryl) Rosenfeld of Mooresville; brother, William (wife, Pat) Kelley of Indianapolis; sister, Bonnie (husband, Bill) Denny of Waldron; grandchildren, Stephanie (husband, Steve) Woods, Darryl (wife, Cathy) Rosenfeld, Brad (wife, Samantha) Rosenfeld, Greg (wife, Tracey) Rosenfeld, Bryce Rosenfeld, Scott (wife, Heather) Rosenfeld, Todd Rosenfeld, Stephen (wife, Paula) Rouse, Jennifer (husband, Bob) Fyke, Brianna Rosenfeld and Andrea Rosenfeld; 18 great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 24 stepgreat-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Mary Frances Kelley and Reba Burton; brothers, infant Kelley, Paul Kelley and Robert Kelley; grandchild, Renee Kenninger; great-grandchild Sydney Rosenfeld; son-in-law, Richard Schoentrup; and two stepgrandchildren.

Flora was a homemaker and farm wife. She loved working crossword puzzles, birdwatching and doing needlework. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service and Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St. Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road, with the Rev. Paul Landwerlen officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or the donor’s favorite charity.
