Thomas D. McDonald, 63, of Shelbyville, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Waldron Health & Rehab Center in Waldron.

He was born March 14, 1948, in Shelbyville to Boyd McDonald and Rebecca (Ross) McDonald.

Survivors include son, Thomas A. McDonald of Shelbyville; daughter, Rebecca McDonald of Shelbyville; brother, Jon McDonald of Shelbyville; granddaughter, Ashlynn Robinette; and grandson, Tyler McDonald.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Thomas worked as a service man for Culligan for 38 years.

Private family services were Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.

Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your brother.
Even though Tom is in a much better place and pain free you''''ll still miss him like crazy. Everyone will.
You know where I am if I can do anything to help.
