Lucile Smith, 67, of Anderson and a former Shelbyville resident, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at St. John's Health Systems in Anderson.
Born Feb. 28, 1944, in Nineveh, she was the daughter of Fred and Pearl (Schrougham) Roberts.
Survivors include son, Ronnie Sturgill (companion, Diane Lee) of Greenfield; grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Nelson and Frank (Jasma) Sturgill; great-granddaughter, Baily Sturgill; brothers, Albert Roberts and Don Roberts, both of Shelbyville; and sisters, Pearl Roberts of Shelbyville and Etta Sullivan of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lucile had worked in cabinet manufacturing at Kline Cabinet in Maxwell.
She enjoyed working puzzles.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Robert Prather officiating.
Burial will be at Hamner Cemetery in Amity.
