Helen was an outstanding member of our community. She was generous, kind, smart, funny, and a true supporter of the young. She was my Ideal Lady through Sunshine Society and I am so grateful to have gotten to know her more during that time. She was nothing, but wonderful! I will truly miss her. May she rest in peace for eternity.

As Executive Director of Shares, Inc. I knew Helen Lux for close to 35 years. She was a wonderful person and very involed in our community through her extended family. There are not many people that have shared in our lives in so many ways. Helen will be missed by all of us at Shares, Inc. but the memories of her life will be cherished forever. I personally had opportunity to shares many stories back and forth about life's lessons and Helen certainly lived a good life.
Our hearts go out to the Lux family and all of you should be proud of the values you have learned from Helen.

For every one of you wonderful Lux folks, I am so sorry for your loss. I want you to know how warm and kind your mother was to me. From the first time I met her, she made me feel more than welcome in your home. Every time I came to visit with Tony, she would prepare the most delicious food and always begged me to eat more! I was always amazed at the number of children she raised; yet she never seemed to "stress out" about anything. How devoted all of you were to her! She was absolutely one in a million. You must have a great deal of peace in your hearts knowing how much she adored all of you. I know you will miss her. You are so fortunate you had a such a wonderful, loving mother like Helen! I know of nobody else who had as many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. What a woman! What a blessing! She truly deserves a special place in Heaven :) Love to you, Terri
