Dear Cousin Bonnie and family,
Nancy and I were sorry to hear, via Jay Dee, of Sam''s passing. I read and printed out the obituary (and picture) that appeared on shelbynews.com website on Wed. morning, so I''ve had several days to think about the good life he lived here on earth and the too-infrequent opportunities I''ve had to share time with him over the 60+ years since we''ve known each other. May the Lord comfort you during this time of loss and leave you with enduring good memories of your interactions with your beloved departed. Dick

Mrs. Amos, Tony, Don, Vicki--I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Amos. I have so many fond memories of him--especially while on camping trips. Time passes so quickly--it's amazing! 6 great grandchildren! Wow! He was a terrific human being--just an overall great guy. I hope this finds everyone else in your family healthy and happy!
