 Michael Glen Rogian, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at MHP Medical Center.

  He was born March 13, 1942 in Batesville, IN. to Arthur ‘Spider’ and Ida ‘Bobbie’ (Bare) Rogian

  He married Bonnie (Thompson) Rogian on May 16, 1962, and she survives.

  He is also survived by his children, Doug (Debbie) Rogian of Boggstown, IN; Eric (Shannon) Rogian of London, IN; and Sam (Erin) Rogian of Greenwood, IN; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Sam Hammond of Shelbyville, IN; and siblings, Arthur Rodney Rogian, Sandy Bittinger, Debbie Norton, Mark Rogian, Jacque Nasby, Steve Rogian and Mary Bremer.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughters, Bonita Gobel and Shirley Michelle Hammond, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Linda Morris and Vicki Smithey and brother, Greg Rogian.

  Michael was a member of Hope’s Point Baptist Church since 1968.  He retired from United Technologies Carrier Corporation in Indianapolis after 37 years of service, with 22 years perfect attendance.  He was a member of Steel Workers Union Local 1999.

  Michael enjoyed his family, fishing, church, and Notre Dame football.

   Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hope’s Point Church, 1703 S. Miller Avenue, Shelbyville.

  Funeral services will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. to time of service.  Reverend Andy Lee will be officiating the service.

  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

  Michael’s family sends their sincere thanks to the staff at MHP for their wonderful care.

  Memorial contributions may be made to Grace House Ministries c/o Hope’s Point Church or to the Leukemia Association c/o Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
