 Marjorie L. (Lowen) Mohney, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away on May 14th, 2019.  She was born April 13, 1929 in Deerfield, Kansas to Andrew and Irene Lowen.

  Marjorie married John W. Mohney on May 4, 1947 and they would have celebrated their 72nd anniversary but John preceded her in death on April 1, 2019.  They also had one son, Daniel, who passed, 1 week prior to John’s passing.

  Marjorie is survived by a loving family.  Her daughters, Connie (John) Phares, Kathy (William) Potter, daughter-in-law, Chris Mohney; grandchildren, Michelle (Gary) Nolley, Toby Conlon, Travis (Jennifer) Conlon, Michael (Mandi) Eaton, Benjamin (Michele) Mohney, Tasha (Neal) Danner Hevel, Tim (Amy) Mohney, Stacy Carlyle, Jennifer (Justin) Klopotek and Joseph Mohney; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as, 1 brother and 2 sisters who will miss her greatly.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, and 4 brothers.

  She was employed at Shelby County Schools, Admiral and the State of Indiana BMV.

  Marjorie loved watching her family grow, camping, fishing, and sitting in the sun.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelbyville Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

  A private graveside service will be held at a later date in conjunction with her late husband, John.

  Funeral Directors, Greg, Sheila, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve the Mohney family.
