P. Louise Freeze, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away May 28, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 16, 1932 in Manchester, TN to W.L. Bowden and Laura (Cunningham) Bowden.
Survivors include her son, Dwight Freeze of Manchester; daughters, Susan "Sandy" Bowman of New Whiteland, IN, and Lisa Kuntz of Shelbyville; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and sister, Eiva Sellars of Manchester.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and companion, Frank Persell.
She retired from Bank One in 1996 after 20 years of service as supervisor in the armored car division.
She attended Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
Ms. Freeze was a member of VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Post 70 and Moose 17.
She loved gardening, reading, dancing and feeding her friendly animals.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service & Crematory, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, with American Legion Auxiliary Rites conducted at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Dennis Hirschauer officiating.
Burial will be in Forest HIll Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary.
