 At Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, we believe our first responsibility is to the families we serve. Each and every funeral can and should be personalized. Our staff wants to help you to create a special and fitting tribute for your loved one. We encourage you to share your ideas, customs and wishes with us. We feel that no request is too small or too large. Some of the ways to personalize funerals are with pictures, possessions, songs, flowers and special readings.
Below is a description of some of the services which we provide.
TRADITIONAL SERVICE
This plan inculdes basic services of funeral director and staff, embalming, other preparation of the deceased, transferring deceased to our care, processing paperwork, lead car, funeral coach, service vehicles for various needs, funeral escort, one day visitation, funeral service at funeral home or another location, interment at cemetery. Price does not include casket or burial container. Also included: 1 Personalized DVD Tribute, 1 Laminated Newspaper Obituary, 1 Personalized Candle and flowers delivered to desired location.
TRADITIONAL SERVICE WITHOUT VISITATION
Traditional Service Without Visitation includes all items in the Traditional Service Package, except visitation the day prior to the service. It however, does include public visitation one hour prior to the Chapel Service.
TRADITIONAL GRAVESIDE SERVICES
Traditional Graveside Services include all items in the Traditional Service Package except Chapel Service.
CREMATION SERVICES
CUSTOMIZED LIFE TRIBUTE WITH CREMATION TO FOLLOW
This includes basic services of funeral director, embalming, automotive equipment and use of facilities for one evening viewing and next day chapel service. This does not include cremation containers. Also included: 1 Personalized DVD Tribute, 1 Laminated Newspaper Obituary, 1 Personalized Candle and flowers delivered to desired location.
DIRECT CREMATION
Some families wish to have a direct cremation without a viewing or service. Then at a later date, if the family chooses, a Life Tribute Service or Memorial Service is held.
