Our sincere condolences to the family of Doris Johnson.
I saw Doris many times during the old Charlie Johnson Band days as the band played at least once every week. She usually accompanied Charlie to the dances and she kept Catherine Bacon company at the band’s table. Her dedication to Charlie was very evident in his later days as his sugar and heart problems became more apparent.
Doris was a kind, generous person. She was very helpful to other people and gave many hours as a volunteer to several community organizations. She lived a good Christian life and will be receiving God’s rewards in her eternity.
It was a pleasure to know Doris Johnson!
