THOMPSON, James W., age 93, of Dayton, OH. passed away Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018 in Dayton.  He was born in Richmond, IN. on Feb. 14, 1925 to Harvey and Elizabeth (Lyons) Thompson.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He worked many years as a purchasing agent for Air Borne Express in Wilmington, OH.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mata (Ehler) Thompson in 2015.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Kim Moyer, Moraine, OH., step grandchildren, Brandon (Christina) Moyer, Lucas Moyer and nieces and nephews.  Also deceased were 2 brothers, William and Daniel and a sister, Virginia Williams.  A public  visitation will be held on Thurs.
