BROWN, Raymond, age 81 of Gratis Township, Preble County, OH. died Friday, June 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was born in Lexington, KY. on Aug. 21, 1936 to Clifford and Leona Brown.  He attended Gratis High School and was a veteran of the U.S.  Marine Corps.  He owned and operated Ray Brown Firearms Repair for many years.  In previous years he operated Ray Brown Automotive and served as service manager for several automotive dealerships in the area.  He was a lifetime member of the Middletown Sportsmen’s Club, an avid trap and skeet shooter and a champion trap and skeet heckler. He is survived by his wife, Wandee Brown, 3 sons, Michael (Mary) Brown, Camden, OH., Mitchel (Beth) Brown, Gratis, Oh., Lee (Connie) Brown, Dayton, OH., stepdaughter, Michele, (Benjamin) Sandifer, Camden, OH., step-son, Praphai Rattapat, Dayton, OH., 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Emerson Brown of Pensicola, FL., and Stephen Brown of West Manchester, OH.  There will be a visitation at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, OH., Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11.30 AM with graveside service conducted at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH at 11.30 AM officiated by Candy Null. Dear Wandee and entire Family and Friends of Ray Brown,
I pray God will comfort you at this time of the loss of your loved one. Ray was a very strong adventerous and witty man.He had well developed skills in cars and firearms that were close to his heart and the community was fortunate and blessed for his lifetime.

My folks lived across the road from Ray for many years,and my older brther was a friend of Rays bbrother steve. My deepest sympathies to the family. God bless!
