BISHOP, (Emerick) Teresa Kay, age 50 of Somerville, OH. died Sat.  Nov. 18, 2017.  She was born in Middletown, OH. on Dec. 8, 1966 to Jim and Karen (Keesling) Emerick.   She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Teresa had worked as a caregiver in the healthcare field.  She loved art, loved to travel and also loved her furry friends.  She is survived by her parents, James and Karen Emerick, Somerville, OH., siblings, Daniel Lee Emerick, Jacksonburg, OH., Cynthia Lynn (Rick) Whitson, Camden, OH., Scott James (Jennifer) Emerick, Lewis Center, OH.,  6 nieces and nephews, Nathan Emerick, Tyler Whitson, Valerie Whitson, Lillian Emerick, Katelyn Emerick Nicholas Emerick.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH.  Burial will be in Fairmound Cemetery, West Elkton, OH.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M.  Memorial donations may be made to the Preble County Humane Society.

Saddened by the loss of Theresa, was just getting to know Theresa. Thresea is now in the hands of our precious Lord and Savior. Love and Prayers to the family in this time of Grief. Trust in the Lord always.

Teresa has been my best friend since grade school. We've shared many adventures throughout the years and I will miss her so much. She was unique, strong, independent and very brave. And, she made the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies EVER! My heartfelt prayers and sympathies to her family.
