Anita Lee Leach, age 82 of Eaton, Ohio, died peacefully Friday, March 17, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on September 19, 1934. She moved to Ohio with her family in 1942, and she graduated from the former Gratis High School in 1952. Anita retired from Baxter of Eaton in 1996 after 26 years of service, and she was proud to say she missed only one day of work in twenty-six years. Anita was an independent woman who cherished a lifetime spent with family and friends. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Thomas of Eaton, Ohio, her brother, Gary Leach of Eaton, Ohio, and eighteen nieces and nephews, who reside across the nation in Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, and Texas, as well as many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and their descendants.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents, William Glover Leach and Ina Myrtle (Short) Leach, her brother William Harold Leach, and her sister Dora Marguerite “Rita” (Leach) Marcum.

The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, the staff of Greenbriar Nursing Center, Dr. Charles Bane, Nurse Practitioner Rene Roth, and the staff of the Cancer Center at Good Samaritan North.

Friends and family may come to call at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home at 67 West Dayton Street in West Alexandria, Ohio from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 and from 10:00am to 11:00am on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
