ROSFELD, Harold Joseph, age 80, of West Alexandria, OH. went to be with the Lord, Thurs. Feb. 2, 2017 in Dayton.  He was born in Brookville, IN. on Aug. 11, 1936.  He was the youngest of six, born to the late Otto and Cordelia (Schneider) Rosfeld.  He was a 1955 graduate of Brookville Indiana High School.  He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving from 1954 to 1957. He was a member of James E. Ryan Post #322 American Legion. Harold had retired from General Motors in 1997 after 31 years.  He was a born again Christian and a member of Covenant of Peace Church in Eaton, OH.  He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Rosalie Robinson Rosfeld in 1997.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Thomas Rosfeld, whom he married in 2003, 4 children, Erin (Mark) Weimer, Eaton, OH., Anthony Rosfeld, Eaton, OH., Vincent “Andy” (Julie) Rosfeld, West Alexandria, OH., Nathanael (Latonya) Rosfeld, Dayton, OH. 4 stepchildren, Brian Smith, New Paris, OH., Scott (Kim) Smith Lewisburg, OH., Sgt. Major Michael (Sandra) Smith, N.C. and Lisa (Vincent) Ebersole, Lewisburg, OH., 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017 at Covenant of Peace Church on 4745 Route 127 N Eaton, OH. with Rev. Kenneth Harbaum officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.  Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:30 A.M. until time of funeral at noon.
