Ed and family,

I was so sorry to learn of Linda's death. It hardly seems real that all of us have reached the ages we have. I am truly sorry that circumstances have prevented me from expressing my sympathy in person but I can assure you that you and your family have been and remain in my prayers.

Carole Hammons (Ellen's sister)
