LEACH, Sarah Elizabeth, age 73 of Sarasota, FL., formerly of Gratis, OH. died Tues. Jan. 17, 2017 in Bradenton, FL.  She was born April 24, 1943 to William and Alpha (Taulbee) Gabbard.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Neveal Gabbard, Roland Gabbard, Thomas Gabbard, Robert Gabbard, and 4 sisters, Maryann Gabbard, Orline Furrow, Nora Johnson, Victoria Wilburn.  Sarah loved her family and all of her grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to the casinos, yard sales, bingo, doing crafts and painting.  She loved to laugh and joke around.  She loved going out to various restaurants with family and friends.  She was feisty, but that’s how she was, and what the family all loved about her. She had spunk!  Sarah was a resident at Westminster Towers and Shores (Bradenton, FL.) for 5 years before that, she lived in Sarasota, FL. She had retired from HI-Stat MFG. Sarasota, FL.  She will be greatly missed.  She is survived by daughters, Kathy Horner (Curt) Sarasota, FL., Susan Cutchineal (Pete) Bradenton, FL., son, Greg Leach (Donna) Eaton, OH., brother, John Gabbard, Gratis, OH., grandchildren,  Michael Horner, Shane Horner (Victoria) and Ethan Cutchineal, great grandchildren, Elijah, Jordan, Peyton, Alex, Jasmine, Ariel,several  nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tues. Jan. 24, 2017 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH.  Visitation is from 12:00PM untill time of service at 1:00PM.  For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com

Mom Sarah will be greatly missed. I thought the world of her won't be the same with out her. Prayers too all the family for peace and comfort. Hold the fort together mom Sarah till we get there.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. In the bible we find hope and comfort. Is. 25:8 "God will swallow up death forever and will wipe tears from all faces."

Sarah Leach you are so very much missed by all of your extended lady friends at WMT. We all were like a big family.Sarita as I often called you,Your friendship was one of a kind,your memories will forever be cherished.
