I was blessed to have known John in high school. He was a few years ahead of me. He was always a gentleman and very respectful to all. I have seen him several times over the years. Time didn't change him. He has always been kind and genuine. Our community and his friends will miss him.

My condolences to the family. John and I were roommates at Miami one year and played Rugby together. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and his ability to quickly make friends.
