SHIVERDECKER, Russell, age 81, of West Alexandria, OH. died  Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.  He was born in Lewisburg, OH. on April 29, 1934 to Charles and Rosabell (Fox) Shiverdecker.  Russ was a U.S. Navy veteran and had served on the U.S.S. Lexington.  He had retired from General Motors in 1988 at 35 years.  He was a member of St. John Church, West Alexandria, OH.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Shiverdecker, 2 daughters, Peggy Shiverdecker, and  Cheryl (Allen) Samson, all of West Alexandria, OH., granddaughter, Deana (Michael) Kraft, Columbus, OH., grandson, Chad Worley, West Alexandria, OH., 3 great granddaughters, Ava, Natalie and Jillian.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Rhoda Shiverdecker, Martha Evans, Edith Shiverdecker and 5 brothers, Orville Shiverdecker, Owen Shiverdecker, Lawrence Shiverdecker, Charles Shiverdecker Jr. and Jim Shiverdecker.  A graveside memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday Nov. 9, 2015 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. with Rev. Ron Dafler officiating.  Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
