ISON, Danis, age 81 of Gratis Township, OH. died Sat. Oct. 17, 2015 in Kettering.  He was born on Oct. 27, 1933 in Letcher County, KY. to Gid and Gracie (Combs) Ison.  He had retired from Miami Paper Mill after 44 years.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva in 2014.  He is survived by 2 sons, Rick (Teresa) Ison, Somerville, OH., Roger (Gina) Ison, W. Carrollton, OH., daughter, Rhonda Murphy, Moraine, OH., 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Dennis (Joyce) Ison, Isom, KY., Clyde (Nova) Ison, Austin, TX., Alice Faye Keith, Charlestown, IN., Gideon Burnett, Isom, KY., Ralph (Grace Anne) Ison, Red Fox, KY., Everett (Kay) Ison, W. Carrollton, OH., Louise (Bill) Adams, Isom, KY., and Ivol (Deborah) Ison, Moraine, OH.  Also deceased, were his parents and 6 brothers, Gail Ison, Robert Ison, John Dee Ison, Forrest Ison, Claude Ison, Elijah Ison and 2 sisters, Viola Adams and Mabel Fowler.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. on Wed. Oct. 21, 2015 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH. with Rev.
