HALL, John L., age 77, of Madison Township, OH. died . Nov. 17, 2010 in Hamilton.  He was born in Carlisle, OH. on Oct 22, 1933 to Raymond and Alma Hall.  He was a 1951 graduate of Gratis High School.  John had worked for A.K. Steel in Middletown, retiring in 1983.  His favorite hobbies were farming, fishing and working with his hands. He loved the outdoors.  He was very skilled at woodworking including making furniture and carving birds.  He loved spending time with the family.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline (Dull) Hall, 3 children, Babette (Dave) Yoder, Trenton, OH., Kim (Jerry) Jackson, Middletown, OH and Eric (Paula) Hall, Monroe, OH. 5 grandchildren,  Angela (Thomas) Halsey, Heather (Chris) Bowling, Jason (Jessica) Jackson, Alex Hall, Jake Hall and 3 great grandchildren, McKenzie Isbell, Gavin Halsey and Colton Bowling, 3 sisters, Betty (Harvey) Stone, Russell Point, OH., Pat (John) Curtis, Carson City, CA., Shirley (Joe) Emrick, Germantown, OH., a brother, Bill (Laverne) Hall, Lake Elsinore, CA., stepbrothers and stepsisters, Norman Moyer, Lenora Brown, Janet Buckmaster, Virginia Moyer and numerous other family members.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Gladys Hall and 2 stepbrothers, Edwin Moyer and Jake Moyer. Special thanks to the staff of the ICU and ITU units at Atrium Medical Center and The Hospice of Hamilton. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Tues. Nov 23, 2010 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, Oh. with Rev. Gary Wood officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tues. from 11:00 am. until 1:00 PM.  Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. or Hospice of Hamilton.  For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com

Johnnie was a wonderful person......husband, father, grandfather, and classmate. We will miss him for much.

Take comfort in the heart of God. He'll always be there to wipe away the tears and pain, and replace it with love and peace in this difficult time.
