Carl Thomas Cory, age 92 of New Lebanon, OH. died Thurs, July 9, 2015 in Dayton, OH. He was born in Dayton on Jan. 20, 1923 to William and Rose (Lauterber) Cory. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He had worked as a fireman for the City of Dayton. Mr. Cory was also a farmer. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Eaton, OH. and also a member of the New Lebanon American Legion Post 762 He is survived by a son, William (Jeanette) Cory, Centerville, OH., 3 daughters, Rosemary (Lionel) Washington, West Alexandria, OH., Patricia (David) Trowbridge, Orlando, FL., Theresa Cory, Dayton, OH., 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Patricia Lukas, Mason, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pauline Cory, daughter, Catherine Cory, grandson, Corey Clifford, brother, Richard Cory, and sister, Mary Huntsberger. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. at Church of the Visitation in Eaton on Tues. July 14, 2015. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. Friends may call at the church on Tues. to greet the family one hour before the mass. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. is in charge of arrangements.
