HARRIS, Charlie G., age 80 of Gratis, OH. Preble County, died unexpectedly Wed. Dec. 17, 2014 in Middletown. He was born in Hancock County, TN. on Oct 9, 1934 to John and Eva (Green) Harris. He had retired from General Motors after 30plus years. He was a member of Eden Oddfellows Lodge #147, member of Poasttown First Church of God, and Masonic Lodge of Camden. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Freda Harris, 2 daughters, Beverly (James) Robertson, Camden, OH., Barbara (David) Cornett, W. Alexandria, OH., 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Alice Parrish, Morristown, TN, brother, Guy Wilder, Campebella, S.C. and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Harris in 1979, his parents and 6 brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Mon. Dec. 22, 2014 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, OH. with Rev. Kenny Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.
