MINNICH, Jerry V., age 83 of Eaton, OH. died suddenly,  Sun. Oct. 12, 2014 in Dayton. He was born in Richmond, IN. on July 20, 1931 to Leonard and Zella (Smith) Minnich.  He was a 1949 graduate of West Alexandria High School.  He had retired from D.P.L. in 1986  after 36 years.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1951 to 1955.  He was a member of James E. Ryan American Legion Post #322, St. John Church, West Alexandria, OH., Bolivar F.& A.M. Lodge #82, Eaton, OH, Scottish Rite of Dayton, Antioch Shrine, O.E.S. Lodge #155 of Farmersville and Royal Arch of Eaton #22.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pat (Diehl) Minnich, 3 children, Cheryl (Gregg) Jacklin, Eaton, OH., Michael Minnich, Anderson, IN., Karen (Philip) Hoke, Eaton, OH., 4 grandchildren, Shawna Hargis, Mark Morgan, Allyson Hoke, Erik Hoke, 3 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thurs. Oct. 16, 2014 at St. John Church, West Alexandria, OH. with Rev. Mark Moore officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.  Friends may call at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. on Wed. from 6-8PM and one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thurs.  Memorial Donations can be made to James E.
