GARBER,  Dorothy Anna, age 85 of Dayton, was received in heaven, Wed. Oct 13, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton.  She was born in West Carrollton on Dec. 9, 1924 to Joseph and Esther (Kesling) Cleveland. She lived most of her life in Dayton.  She was preceded in death by her husbands,  Stephen Carrasas in 1948 and Dwight Garber in 1994.  She was a WWII  Womens Army Corp veteran.  She is survived by 4 sons, Stephen (Cynthia) Carrasas, Eaton, OH., Dwight (Linda) Garber, Miamisburg, OH., John (Brenda) Garber, Vandalia, OH. and Dave Garber, Dayton, OH., several grandchildren and several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and a sister, Frances "Jody" Paul. A memorial graveside service will be held Sat. Oct. 23, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.  In leau of flowers donations may be made to the Dayton Humane Society in her name. I am so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was such a fun and outgoing woman. She will be missed by all, including her two cats Mimi and Sugar.

Condolences to the family. I have very fond memories of Dorothy and all of you from the 1950''s and 60''s when we were neighbors on Burkhart Ave. She was such a lovely lady, I''m sure she will be missed.
