ADAMS, Creston L., age 84 of Middletown, OH. died Mon. Nov. 18, 2013. He was born in Middletown on Jan. 5, 1929 to Kelly and Dixie (Barker) Adams. He was a 1947 graduate of Gratis High School and he was a Navy veteran. He had retired from Jefferson Smurfit in Middletown. Mr. Adams was a member of Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center, Middletown, OH., James E. Ryan Post #322 American Legion, Chapter #159 F. & A.M. 32nd Degree, Scottish Rite and Antioch Shrine Temple and Eden Lodge #147 Oddfellows of Gratis. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Geneva Adams, 2 children, Debra L. Suggs, W. Alexandria, OH., Greg (Kristy) Adams, Camden, OH., stepdaughter, Carol (Rodney) Combs, Franklin, OH., 6 grandchildren, Justin (Anna) Arnold, Brad Arnold, Kelli Adams, Marisa (Josh) Apking, Jodi (Jason) Worley, Jessica Adams, 13 great grandchildren, brother, Winfred (Virginia) Adams, Camden, OH., sister, Wanda (Art) Sloneker, Middletown, OH., and sister-in-law, Janet Adams, Trenton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Doris Adams, and brother, Edward Adams. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Fri. Nov. 22, 2013 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, OH. with Rev. Kenneth Angel officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
