FLORY, Clarabeth (Menke), age 92 of West Alexandria, OH. died Thurs. Sept. 9, 2010 in Dayton.  She was born in Preble County on July 1, 1918 to Carl and Grace (Ulrich) Menke.  She was a graduate of Lanier High School and Miami University  and was a teacher for over 20 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald in 1990 and a brother, Paul Menke.  She was a  member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Farmersville, OH. where she was a member of the church choir and bell choir.  She loved to do quilting as a hobby.  She is survived by 2 sons, Donald (Jean) Flory, West Alexandria, OH., Ronald (Pam) Flory, Bellingham, WA., a daughter, Janet Flory, New York City, 5 grandchildren, Michael (Shannon) Flory, Josh (Erin) Flory, Ethan Baker, Cindy (David) Thomas, Brent Flory,  and 5 great grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sat. Sept. 11, 2010 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Farmersville, OH. with Rev. Larry Lindstom officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria.  Friends may call at the church on Sat. from 12:30P.M. until 2:00 PM.  Donations may be made to the West Alexandria Food Bank, P.O. On behalf of the Jackson family i would like to offer our condolences. I always looked forward to the meals she cooked when we bailed hay, and remember enjoying her as my 4th grade teacher.
