BROWER, Stanley B., age 85 of West Alexandria, OH. died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. He was born in Preble County on Jan. 7, 1928 to Carl and Elsie (Bierley) Brower. Mr. Brower was a 1946 graduate of Lanier High School, attended Sinclair College and was a WWII Army veteran. He had retired from D.P.L. He was a Charter Member of Optimist Club, Eaton, OH. and member of F & AM. Lodge #88, Eaton. OH. He is survived by his twin children, John (Dee) Brower, West Alexandria, OH, Janet Langford, Dothan, AL, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 4 stepchildren, Boyd Berry, Bonnie Berry, Ruth Ann Houser and Sharon Staley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Marie Brower in 2011, his parents, a great granddaughter, Caitlyn, a sister, Elois Locke and a brother, Byron Brower. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. is in charge of arrangements.
