Ruth E. Eubanks, age 92, of West Alexandria, Ohio , died on, June 28, 2013 at Heartland of Eaton. She was born September 27, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Alva and Ella Alexander.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert L. Eubanks and her brother Wilbur Alexander .She leaves her legacy of a life of love and service to her son Larry(Lu) from New Paris, her daughter Donna (Sue) from San Diego, CA, her granddaughter Heather (Randy),  great grandchildren Cody, Brock, Kade Tegtmeier from West Salem,OH and nephew Bob Alexander from Miamisburg, OH. Ruth worked at the Rike Kumler Co. in Dayton, OH in the early years of her marriage, helping to provide for Donna and Larry’s college. After Gilbert’s death, she began working at Subway of Eaton- just for the fun of it. She recently was presented a plaque recognizing her 20 years of continuous employment.  Staff members were often entertained with her off the cuff jokes and lightheartedness.  She will be sorely missed by her Subway family. Her service was to Visitation Church of Eaton where she was a proud member of St Anne’s Sodality. A funeral mass will be held at  Visitation Church in Eaton on July 3rd at 10 am. Following the mass, internment will be at the Preble Memory Gardens.  Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, is in charge of arrangements. Family and friends are invited to meet back at the church for a meal provided by St Anne’s Sodality and Subway and a time of sharing our memories of Ruthie. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Visitation Church and/or St Anne’s Sodality in her memory.  For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com

(Revelation 21:4)  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Only Donna will know me. Donna please accept my deepest sympathy with the passing of your mom. I remember the great times we had while your dad was building your home. She was always so funny and " one of us girls". She was always so proud of you and your brother. God Bless
