Steve...I talked to you over the weekend as we walked out of work. You were so tired... as the rest of us were and ready for time away from work. You were so looking forward for retirement and time to be with your "NEW" grandchildren. I sure didn't like the timing...maybe there was a "DAMN GOOD REASON!!!"... For deciding.."NOW"...now was the time...I didn't agree..but it happened anyway...You will be missed by all that knew you and worked with you...Please save me a place at "The Pearly Gates"...I'm not far behind you Sir...

Steve was a great example of a strong man and a good friend. The many memories we are left with, just don't seem enough. He deserved so much more, though he lived life with gusto and was generous beyond measure.
Steve was a blessing and a buddy.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Waldon family. It has been so many years since Steve,Nancy, and John along with my sister Mary would meet at the Waldon home or Peace Park and play ball until dark. Always a good time and many fond memories.
