KNABE, Lowell, age 81 of Eaton, OH. died Wed. Mar. 20, 2013 in Richmond.  He was born in Gratis, OH. on Aug. 14, 1931 to John and Mary Jeanette (Miller) Knabe.  He was a 1949 graduate of Gratis High School.  Lowell was the previous owner and operator of Your Flower Shop in Eaton for over 40 years.  He was a member of First Brethren Church in Gratis.  He is survived by 2 sons, John Knabe, Kettering, OH., Josh Knabe, 3 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Anita (David) Johnson, and Mary (John) Johnson, all of Gratis, OH., nieces, nephews and close friend, Warren  Riley, Eaton, OH.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Knabe and daughter-in-law, Katie Knabe.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 22, 2013 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home in Gratis on Fri. from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.  For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com

I am so very sorry to hear of Lowell's passing.Being in the floral industry at one time we ran into each other often and he always had such kinds words for the way I had decorated my parents graves!! He will be truly missed and your family has my sincerest condolences and heartfelt prayers!

I will miss him very much. He welcomed me into his life and loved my 2 little girls as his own grandchildren. Harlie and Raegan called him Papaw and loved him very much. They spent alot of time together and always brightened eachothers day and brought it full of smiles, love and laughter. You will be greatly missed :'(

Sorry to hear of Lowell's passing. It has been good knowing him as his pastor and as friend. May God comfort the family.

Condolences from the Kiracofe family. We all have fond memories of Lowell and my parents thought very highly of him. I regret not being able to attend the services but services for my aunt (Lois Messinger) are also today.

So sorry to learn of Lowell's passing. He was a frequent customer when he and the St. Clair Inn were both in business in downtown Eaton. May God bless all of his family with pleasant memories.
