COMER, Herbert H. Sr., age 85 of West Alexandria, OH. died Thurs. Feb. 21, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in New Lebanon, OH. on March 26, 1927 to Clifford and Hazel Comer. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He had retired from Rohm & Haas Mfg. in West Alexandria. He was a member of James E. Ryan Post #322 American Legion and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ingomar, OH. He is survived by 3 children, Diana (Ronald) Angel, Farmersville, OH., Brenda Miller, Eaton, OH., Christopher (Melodie) Comer, West Alexandria, OH., 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, nieces and nephews, half sister, Martha Katherine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet in 1998, his parents, a son, Herbert H. Comer Jr., grandchild, Michael Burnside and brother Howard Comer. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Mon. Feb. 25, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church on Enterprise Rd. with Rev. Laura Cavendish officiating. Burial will be in Twin Valley Cemetery.
