KELHOFFER, Miriam Louise, age 89, passed away in her Middletown, Ohio home of 63 years on Jan. 20, 2012 at 7:08PM.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, infant son, Gregory, brother, Kenneth Brown, sister, Eleanor Walter, and her parents, Earl and Clara (Weber) Brown.  She was born on her family farm in Madison Township on Oct. 17, 1923 and was a descendent of one of the original families to settle in Madison Township.  She was a member of the Madison Historical Society.  Employed by the Madison Board of Education for 29 years, she retired from Madison High School Library in 1986.  She was an active member of Unity Church of Today and was a student of Unity Teaching for several years.  She is survived by her two sons, Lynn Howard and Cheryl Kelhoffer and David Earl and Scarlett Kelhoffer, both of Middletown, OH., 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Phyllis Brown, her cousin, Pearl Friend and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM. Thurs. Jan. 24, 2013 at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Gratis, OH. with Rev. Greg Wissman officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thurs. from 1-2PM  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Middletown staff, especially Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke, Amber, and Bonnie for their loving care and support.  Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Church of Today, Monroe, Ohio or Hospice of Middletown.  For condolences: www.lindloffzimmerman.com

Dear David and Miriam's family, JoNell and I express our deepest sympathy to you all. We loved Miriam. She was a wonderfull person that we all admired and enjoyed being with. Our prayers are with you, and we are sorry we can't be at the service.

So sorry to hear of Miriam's passing, I still remember he smiling face in the lunch line at Madison High School. Our thoughts are with the family at this time, may you always have fond memories of your Mother.

Lynn, Cheryl,David,Scarlett and family, Miriam will be truely missed. I remember her beautiful smile and laughter. Eleanor, Miriam and Pearl were so close, Like sisters. We will keep all of you in our prayers. We are here if you need "Anything".

Dear David and all of Miriam's family, Rick and I extend our sympathies at Miriam's passing on. I loved having Miriam in our classes at church. I always learned a lot from her. We loved her wonderful smile and her stories, among other aspects of her being. She was a jewel!!!
