THOMAS,  Nancy L., age 73 of West Alexandria, OH. died Thurs. Jan. 3, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Gratis, OH. on Sept. 18, 1939 to Carl and Louise (Kiracofe) Patton.  She was a 1957 graduate of Gratis High School  and was cheerleader for the Gratis State Champion Basketball Team.  She had worked for many years for Park-N-Go.  She was a member of West Alexandria Community Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Nancy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Larry Thomas, 4 children, Debi (Pete) Jazenski, Vandalia, OH., Larry J. (Rhonda) Thomas, West Alexandria, OH., Scott (Teresa) Thomas, Germantown, OH., Mike (Sherrie) Thomas, Brookville, OH., 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, sister, Rhoda (Ray) Shepherd, Eaton, OH., many cousins, nieces, nephews,  a dear friend, Virginia Rigsby and Nancy's little dog, Katie.  She will be missed by her many friends and family.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, Jan 7, 2013 at Community Christian Church with Rev. Douglas Bottles officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH.  Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 6-8PM. and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Thomas family, we love and miss all of you dearly, we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers, we are so grateful for the friendship that Bernice and Nancy was able to have because their friendship is an example of TRUE friends! Nancy will be dearly missed by all of us and we are thankful that she and her family is part of our lives.

So sorry to hear of your moms passing, Pete had told us of her fight with Leukemia and we understand the suffering that she endured, our prayers are with you and your family in this time of sorrow.Try to take comfort with the knowledge that she is now in a better place, and free of all this worlds pain.
