I have great memories of Mrs. Zimmerman, she taught me as a student. I applaud her as a teacher and she had class. I loved to hear her laugh, and there was a few times as students we did get her to laugh. Words however kind, can not mend your heartache but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends and your family.

Debbie, What fun memories I have of staying overnight in your home during our childhood days! Your Mother was always fixing us something to eat as we giggled our way through the evening. One by one, we bury our parents, and that makes us rely on memories of yesteryear. Sending my warm sympathy and care.

Mrs Zimmerman was one of my favorite teachers and I know she will be remembered fondly by many of her students. They just don't have teachers like her anymore. She was certainly special and the only one who ever called me by my first name!! ( I go by my middle name)

God bless her family.

I am sorry to hear about Mrs. Zim's passing, but so happy she is now at peace. As her student in the early 60's, I learned just as much about life and how to navigate it as a teen as I did to cook and sew. We all loved her. She was truly an inspiration and one classy lady. Peace and blessings to the family.

May your memories help heal your pain, she was a wonderful lady and wonderful teacher. She reminded me, over 25 years after I had been in her class, that it wasn't too late to pull my grade for sewing over pins making my daughter's wedding dress.
