BELLAR, Betty Jean, age 79, of West Alexandria, OH. went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017.  She was born in Lancing, TN. on Oct. 17, 1938 to Glendon and Pearl (Waites) Dodson.  She was a faithful member of West Alexandria Pentecostal Church.  She was known for her love of baking delicious pies, singing and songwriting.  She is survived by her loving family, Sherri Lowe, Richmond, IN., Byron Bellar, West Alexandria, OH., Scott (Mary) Bellar, Springboro, OH., Tracy Spence, Liberty, IN., LouAnn (Randall) Kassens, Liberty, IN., 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, siblings, Marilyn Sue Steinhauser, Eaton, OH., Jimmy Dodson and Gary Dodson, both of TN., Mary Wells and Dale Dodson, both of VA., aunt, Irene (Tom) Gulick, Williamstown, KY., several in-laws, nieces and nephews, and her special church family, especially Brother Wilmer Mitchell and his wife, Pauline.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bellar, daughter, Denise Bellar,  grandson, Geoffrey Bellar, great grandson, James Kassens and a brother David Dodson.  Visitation for Betty will be held 10:00 A.M. until noon on Wed. Oct. 25, 2017 at West Alexandria Pentecostal Church, 70 Woodard Ave. West Alexandria, OH.  There will be a private family church service later.  Memorial donations may be made to West Alexandria Pentecostal Church.
