I worked with Bernadine at the hospital and she was an excellent nursing assistant.  She sure loved the babies.  I had not had a lot of experience with OB but with excellent nursing assistants, I felt I could do anything.  I was surprised to see Bernadine at the nursing home and I would visit her and Ramona.  I also reminded her of how she helped me learn as a new RN and of all the newborn babies.  I am sure they missed her at the hospital after she retired.
