Raymond M. Farrell, age 96 of Boscobel, passed away on Tuesday June 14, 2011 at his home in Boscobel. He was born on March 29, 1915 in Tavera, Richland County Wisconsin. The son of Joseph and Margaret (Conley) Farrell. He married Bertha Pulvermacher on June 29, 1943 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2011. He is survived by five sons: Michael Farrell of Mt. Hope, James (Linda) Farrell of Boscobel, Gary (Sue) Farrell of Boscobel, David (Lissa) Farrell of Whitcha Falls Tx., Francis (Jane) Farrell of Sun Prairie. Two daughters; Joan (Peter) Ersland of Madison, Mary (Keith) U'Ren of Fennimore. 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren. One brother; Joseph Farrell of Altona Illinois. Four sisters: Margaret (Ronald) Ritchie of Boscobel, Betty (Jim) Mindham of Davenport Fl., Eileen Wayne of Deerfield Wi., Rosemary Ward of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, A daughter Teresa Farrell. Two infant Grandchildren Michael and Edward Farrell, A daughter in Law: Mary Farrell. Five Sisters: Letha Stafford, Lillian Mezera, Florence Goplin, Leona La Mere, Frances Farrell. One brother Thomas Farrell.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday  June 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday June 19, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, with a Knights of Columbus Rosary Service at 7:30 P.M. Visitation also held on Monday from 9:30 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home  until departure to Immaculate Conception. On line condolence may be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
