Byron A. Freymiller, age 87 of Boscobel, passed away on Monday May 9, 2011 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque Iowa. He was born on October 30, 1923 in Marion Township Grant County  Wisconsin.  The son of Lou J. and Elizabeth (Bender) Freymiller. He married Betty Welsh on October 27, 1948 at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien. She preceded him in death on March 22, 2010. Byron and Betty farmed in the Fennnimore Area most of their lives. He is survived by one brother: Mark (Evelyn) Freymiller of Fennimore. Four Sisters: Bernadine (Herman) Wachter of Woodman, Gilda (Loren) Welsh of Prairie du Chien, Darlene Mueller of Prairie du Chien, Adelia Brechler of Boscobel.  Several Nieces and Nephews.2 Sister in laws; Eleanor Freymiller of Boscobel, Sherry (Art) Freymiller of Fennimore. He was preceded in death by his parents 4 brothers: Edward, Lloyd, Harold, Lou "Mac" Freymiller.
A mass of christian burial will be held on Saturday May 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Prairie Cemetery Fennimore. Friends may call on Friday May 14,  2011 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel with a Rosary Service at 7:30 P,M..Military honors will be accorded by the Grey, Wachter,Murphy Legion Post#229 of Mt. We are rejoicing with Byron at his homegoing! Those left behind will miss him. He brought joy and smiles to many people over the years. We remember his musical talents and love of the land! He and Betty were partners for life. A wonderful duo! Our prayers are with his family which extended to Betty''s as well.
