Albert "Al" F. Johnson, age 82 of Boscobel, passed away on Friday May 06, 2011 at Boscobel Care and Rehab in Boscobel Wisconsin. He was born on January 29, 1929 in Tomah Wisconsin.  The son of Fred and Lula (Doers) Johnson. He married Beverly Hennarichs the mother of their children  in 1949,they later divorced. He then married Verna Pauquette  in December of 1972. She preceded him in death in 1995.  He then married Lois "Hass" Rustad on May 20, 2005 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua Iowa.
He is survived by his wife Lois Johnson of Boscobel. 1 Son: Mark (Kathy) Johnson of Wisconsin Dells. 3 daughters: Catherine Corpian and special friend Karl Jacobson both of McGregor Iowa,  Lona (Regg) Adams of Boscobel, Linda (Jorge) Polanco of Onalaska Wisconsin. 3 step-sons: Rusty (Nancy) Rustad of Mt. Horeb, Jeffrey Rustad of Raleigh N.C., Jim Rustad of Philadelphia  Pa. 3 step-daughters: Joan Rustad of Milwaukee, Jean (Joseph) Johnson of Boston Ma., Julie (Dave) Niederkorn of Raleigh N.C. 17 Grandchildren  12 Great-Grandchildren. 1 brother Jesse (Marion) Johnson of Tomah. 2 sisters: Ardella Douglas of Tomah, Delores (Jim) Powell of Camp Douglas. 2 sister in laws: Ellen Johnson of Camp Douglas, Agnes Johnson of Tomah. A brother in Law: James Powell of Camp Douglas. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Rueben, Kenneth, Virgil Johnson. Two sister Beulah "Boots"  Bassett, Delores "Dollie" Powell.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday May 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.  at St. John's Lutheran Church in Boscobel. Pastor Charles Koester officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Wedensday May 11 2011   from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, and at the church from 10:00 A.M until the time of Service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Bocobel Fire Department or the Boscobel Depot Heritage Museum.  On line condolence may be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com

Sorry to hear of Al''s passing. Al and his wife were always great people to deal with when I was at work. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends at this difficult time.

Al was a great Man for the community, His many years with the Fire Dept , and on the Depot Museum. His Hard work and dedication to Boscobel will be missed. My Prayer''s go out to his family.

Our deepest sympathy to Al''s family in their loss. The loss of such a talented man whom touched and completed many lives will be sorely missed. May our loving aunt Lois and Al''s entire family know our prayers and thoughts will be with them during this difficult time.

I am proud to have been a friend of Al''s. He brightened many a day with his jovial manner and witty conversation. Al also gave his time selflessly to causes and oganizations which were important to him and we should never forget that. To Al''s family, I extend my deepest sympathy, and to Al I say a fond good-bye. I''m thankful I had the privelige to know you.
