Dateline- Blue River
Raymond A. Kratochwill, age 89 of rural Blue River, passed away on Wednesday  April 13, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Muscoda. He was born on April 21, 1921 in Muscoda. The son of Henry and Anna (Sikhart) Kratochwill. He married Mildred Collins on June 7, 1944 at St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church in Mt. Hope Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2002.              
Raymond and Mildred farmed all of their lives  in the Blue River Area. He is survived by four sons: James Kratochwill of Blue River, Gary Kratochwill and special friend Jan Conley both of Blue River, Charlie (Doreen) Krathocwill of Highland, Brian (Carol) Kratochwill of Muscoda, Two daughters: Joanie Martin of Richland Center, Sue (Gary) Farrell of Boscobel. 16 Grandchildren 8 Great-Grandchildren. A sister in law : Phyllis (Chuck) Enke of Prairie du Chien. He was preceded in death by 5 Sisters and 4 Brothers.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday April 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday April 15, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel, with a Knights of Columbus Rosary  Service at 7:30 P.M.   On line condolence may be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
