Lloyd B. Hardy, age 73, of rural Boscobel passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2011 at the Boscobel Area Health Care in Boscobel. He was born on March 8, 1937 in rural Boscobel. The son of Ervin and Leata M. (Staskal) Hardy. He married Jeanette Wilkinson on October 31, 1959 at the United Methodist church in Boscobel. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Hardy of Boscobel. One son Lloyd C. (Amy) Hardy of Viroqua. Three daughters: Cindy Childs of Boscobel and fiancee Norbert Riemenapp of Dodgeville, Jodi (Dan) Childs of Mazomanie, Amy (Kevin) Farley of Tinley Park Ill. 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren. One brother Gary (Karen) Hardy of Richland Center. Two sisters: Arlene (Melvin) Mayne of Wauzeka, Marlene (Larry) Wetter of Boscobel. A Sister in law: Marilyn Hardy of Janesville. His mother in law: Wilma Wilkinson of Mt. Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents, along with a brother Erv Hardy.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Boscobel. Pastor Stan Pegram officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday February 24, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel and at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
