Our deepest sympathy to you and all of your family Antoinette. I really enjoyed talking to Howard. He always had such a positive outlook on life and interesting stories. He may be in Gods hands now, but I bet he is trying to get him to take a short ride. God bless and peace be with you.

I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing. I have many fond memories of the times I rode with Howard at the horse park in Prairie . He was one of the many fixtures who helped shape me into the person I am; along with the knowledge he helped install in the horse world. He will surely be missed.

We are going to miss you Howard. I promise you that I won’t be a bad influence on Annie. I’ll miss all your razing that you gave when we came home from the oil changes but I know you really loved that Annie was able to get out and have a good time. I’m here for you Annie. Howard until we see you again you keep those horses rounded up in Heaven 😘

Howard was my late brothers’ best friend, and through Dan we became very good friends with Howard and Toni.

The lunches that we looked forward to at the Copper Top restaurant were special in our lives and we could hardly wait for the next one.

We treasure our friendship and feel that we were blessed beyond measure to get to know these great people. Howard will always have a special place in our hearts.

Until we meet again, rest in peace, dear friend.

I give my deepest sympathy to the Chapman Family, I had the honor and privilege of knowing your family when we worshiped the Lord together at the Rock Street Church of Christ in Viroqua in the mid 1970s. I remember your family as very sweet and Howard was always willing to share a chuckle or two! There were many good church potluck times shared either at your farm or ours. It is SO true that God takes "the best" like Howard, my Mother, Laraine Foss in May, 2018 and our baby Travis Gudgeon in 1986. God has promised us eternal life with Him in heaven which will be free of earthly woes. "What a day of rejoicing that will be!" It is so hard to lose someone we love here on earth, but I pray that God will bring your family comfort in knowing that Howard is with Him and saving us all a spot at that banquet table!
In Christ.

I am so sorry to hear about your Father's sudden passing. Hugs for both of you at this very sad time. He sounds like a wonderful person who loved his family, served his country and had a passion for horses. A life well lived.
