Helen M. Wellington, age 78 of Boscobel, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home in Boscobel. She was born on April 4, 1941 in Boscobel Wisconsin. The daughter of Adolph and Edith (Gile) Nelson. She is survived by four daughters; Cathy (Tim) Laxton of Boscobel, Julie Bulmann of Morris Illinois, Stacey (Chris) Smart of New Jersey, Lori Wellington of Peoria Illinois. Twelve Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild. One Sister in law; Janita Nelson of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Richard Nelson and William Nelson. One sister; Karen Gilbertson.
Helen’s daughters remember how mom enjoyed simple pleasures like gardening, canning and baking homemade bread. Other moments we remember were her sitting on her swing watching the stars or the fog roll in across the wetlands on the Wauzeka Farm. We hope to encompass the best parts of mom which include being humble, empathetic, compassionate and to love unconditionally.
