Mae Gander, age 80 of Boscobel, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at her home in Boscobel.  She was born October 11, 1938 in Bell Center Wisconsin  The daughter of Ora and Nona (Havens) Bankes.  She married Verlin Gander October 25, 1957 in Rockford Illinois . He preceded her in death on February 17, 1975. She is survived  two sons: James (Shelly) Gander of De Soto, Bryon (Brenda) Gander of Boscobel. 5 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.  Three sisters: Pat (Paul) Wallin of Soldiers Grove, Peggy (Rodney) Van Fleet of Beloit, Mary Cramsey of Boscobel.  One brother: Joe Wallin of Blue River. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Ora Gander, a sister Georgian Randall, a great-grandson Stephon Gander, step-father Orlan Wallin, life partner Shelby Groom.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel. Pastor Jean Bartlett officiating. Burial in the West Fork Cemetery, Richland County Wisconsin. Friends may call on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Kendall Funeral Home  in Boscobel. You were by far the greatest grandmother anyone could have ever had I’ll never forget the long phone calls the great advice you gave and most of all the love you had for each and everyone of us you will truly always be missed I love you grandma may you Rest In Peace and hold Stephon in your arms for me until I am able fly high grandma until we meet again love you always Stacie

You have been and always will be an amazing woman to so many! I was so blessed to have you accept and love my two children as your grand children, You will forever be in my heart along with Kory & Klarissa's and extended family. RIP sweet dear ma ! I love you !
