Dorothy (Dee) Ann Frambs

“Dee” Frambs, 86, a life-long resident of Wisconsin and most recently of Boscobel, was surrounded by loved ones, as she stepped from earth into Heaven on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Her death was a result of congestive heart failure.

Dee was born August 11,1932 in Watertown, the daughter of Leslie C. and Sarah E. (Hearring) Radloff, they resided in Fort Atkinson where she was raised. In 1949, at age 17, Dee married 20 year old Lloyd Klietz and they moved to Jefferson, then later to Waukesha. During their marriage 5 offspring were born, however after 26 years Dee and Lloyd divorced. In 1977 after a romantic courtship Ralph Frambs proposed to Dee and they were married that year. This marriage brought the total of children to 8. Ralph and Dee continued to reside in Waukesha until Ralph retired, they then moved to Boscobel.

Throughout her work life Dee always held service related jobs such as food service assistance in restaurants and health care facilities; nursing assistant and home health care which included hospice care, she also worked as a convenience store clerk and even a school bus driver. Dee was terrific at these jobs because she very much enjoyed helping others.

Dee liked many activities including road trips, camping, fishing, playing cards, dancing, going to plays, gardening, reading, bargain hunting, baking, home decorating, watching movies, sewing and later she dove head first into card making and quilting.  Country western and old time gospel music were her favorites but she also enjoyed show tunes. Dee’s favorite activity besides worship services and church events was to simply visit with family and friends at home or elsewhere.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and most recently her son, Richard (Margie Shoemaker) Klietz.  She’s survived by her devoted and loving husband, Ralph Frambs, 7 children, Ginger Klietz of Willis, TX, Theodore (Tina) Klietz of Seguin, TX, Brian Frambs  and Fiance  Amy Jessen both of Menomonee Falls, David (Jackie) Klietz of St. Paul, MN, Gregg  (Cathy) Frambs of Waukesha, Jody (Robert) Hehn of Boscobel and Rebecca (Jeff Freeck) Frambs of Pewaukee. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, a large number of other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation, with the memorial service to follow, will be September 8, 2018, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., both to be held at Kendall Funeral Service. 209 Mary Street, Boscobel. Following the service a repast hosted by Maple Ridge Church, 43955 Country Road East, Boscobel.

Please note, Dee preferred that after she went to Heaven donations be made to FeedingAmerica.org or American Humane.org, in lieu of flowers, thank you.
