Thomas G. "Tom" Machotka, age 75, of rural Fennimore, passed away on Monday July  23, 2018.  He was born on May 3, 1943 in Dodgeville Wisconsin.  The son of Edward and Harriett (Volenec) Machotka. Tom graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1961. Tom farmed in Crawford County for 20 years before moving to Grant County.  He enjoyed raising sheep and doing yard work.  He made close friends, with all his neighbors, especially with the Amish Community, who welcomed him with open arms.  Levi Fisher and family took great care of Tom during his illness, and his neighbor "Pete" and cousin "Charlie" and their wives assisted him tremendously, as well during this time. Tom attended the Boscobel Assembly of God church in Boscobel, where he worshipped his Lord Jesus Christ.

Tom is survived by two daughters; Tammie (Darren) Katzung of Bagley, Traci (Steve) Murphy of Lake Mills.  Five Grandchildren; Kara Katzung, Meg Katzung, Kellen (Sarah) Murphy, Cooper Murphy, Marli Murphy. His cousins, Charlie (Marilyn) Volenec of Montfort, Charlotte Lagman of Platteville, Mary (Dallas) Wolf of Muscoda, Nieces and Nephews and other cousins. His Amish family Levi (Sarah) Fisher of Fennimore.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday July 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Assembly of God Church in Boscobel.  Pastor Ryan Langner officiating. Burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery rural Fennimore.  Friends may call on Friday July 27, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Assembly of God Church in Boscobel.  The Kendall Funeral Service in Boscobel, is assisting the family.  Online condolences can be sent to www.kendallfuneralservice.com
